Installation environments push my thoughts and subjects beyond the 2-dimensional plane of the canvas. Having worked as an artist and designer for theater, film, and television; I find exploring this type of space in my personal work both a challenge and a natural extension from my experiences.

As this medium grows outward from my studio practice I aim for my same hand to flow through these environments; effectively bringing a sense of similar textures, rhythms, and gestures that are threaded throughout all of my work to exist in "real" space. I am intrigued by working in this capacity as it conveys a very tactile and tangible expression of the chaotic overwhelm I feel in our modern world.
